Two celebrity players lent their voices to an animated TV Funhouse parody known as “Celebrity Mugshot Poker,” where various hollywood celebrities are represented by animated versions of their mugshots.

It is anybody’s guess where poker will take the world next.

Starting With Rakeback

Poker is a game with what you can make huge profits in the long run .  In other casino games house always has an advantage over the player   . Online Poker rooms take a certain fee for arranging the games called rake. It is possible to get an average of 30% of that rake back. It is the most important topic when you start with online poker, whether you play once a week or every day. Find an affiliate that offers best rakeback deal and start earning your rake back which will maximize your profits.

Finding a good poker game might be quite frustrative. Correct poker is tight and agressive. People bet and raise when they have good cards. This strategy works best when other players are playing a loose or a passive game.

You can find out the commanding style at a table very easily, poker rooms provide an option to filter tables by  „Plrs/Flop“. If the poker room does not have that button then you should look for the average pot size. Since both numbers have been taken over a longer period it is smart to watch the numbers and select from the tables with numbers raising. Tables with numbers dropping usually mean that the „good game“ has ended because bigger numbers have lured in tight players who have already cleaned out the loose players.

Finding a good game is easier if you have poker accounts at multiple online poker rooms . Joining is completely free but you should definitely look for a room with rakeback and low skilled players, like 888 Poker Rakeback. Plus the poker rooms give very generous deposit bonuses. Some rooms give it automatically once you have registered but others after you have deposited and played a certain amount of hands. It is best to look for the best options.

In Holdem it is very important to know how to play your starting hands  the right way. You can win with any starting hand but playing too many hands is the quickest way to go broke. Most of the beginners make this mistake .

Players position defines the strategy he or she should use  . Player in the first position has to make his decision based on no information. Last player, who is on the button, can see everyone else act before him and make his decisions then. It is also easier to figure out what are the pot odds when you act last. This can affect your game style very much. In Holdem there are three types of positions – Early positions, middle positions and late positions.

As mentioned before then finding a good game is hard, especially for beginners. Beginners should look for best rakeback deal and obviously read about what rakeback is. It would be best to start with Noxwin Rakeback or with another similar room.

Texas Holdem Poker

Do you want to be a online poker-tips" title="Poker Tips, Techniques, and Strategy">poker player? Why not! Everyone can be a poker player, but like everything else, you have to learn. Best way to start off is to get familiar with rakeback. Read what it is and then find the affiliate who offers best rakeback deal.

Most people start online poker with Texas Hold’em. This article talks about a few aspects of that game variant.

Basic thing is to know what starting hands to play in what positions. First position is left of the big blind. Starting from that you should raise with AQ up to 22, leaving QQ, TT and same with second and third position. In fourth, fifth and sixth position you should raise with AK to AJ and KQ, including all pairs. In positions after that you can raise with AK-A2, K9 or better, any two pictures including JT. Also with all pairs. Keep in mind that if someone raises before you it is not very smart to call with mediocre cards.

If anyone re-raises you when you are in the middle positions  and you have QQ-AA then you should definitely re-raise, with other premium hands you should call . You should play the previously written hands in that way if there are more then eight players playing  . If the table is full (10 players) then the game is tighter, raises are more ordinary and less people look at the flop . Picture cards value will rise  , drawing hands and made pairs lose their value. If the game is very easy then you can play a lot of drawing hands already from the first position, like JT suited or 54 suited.

In No-Limit you should test your opponents strength when you are in one of the last position by limping with all suited drawing cards and maybe cards like 97 suited, hands which have a card missing between them (opposite to 9-8 i.e.). It is hard for your opponent to analyse you because they will not guess your hand that easily  . These hands can be very profitable against tight players who have raised in early position  , if they have an overpair and you have flopped a set in a late position then you will most likely get their whole stack . It is not very good to do this oftenly and definitely not when you would be the only person against the raiser  . These kind of hands become profitable when the hand has three or more players involved .

Beginners make a lot of mistakes before starting poker  but one of the most common ones is that they do not look for explanations about rakeback  . Once you have read about it then it would be best to look for 888 Poker Rakeback or Noxwin Rakeback as they provide the fishiest tables and very good rakeback. When looking for a good online poker room you should make sure that they have the proper limits for you and that there are enough players. The more beginners you find the bigger net income you make!

Texas Holdem Online Poker

When starting with online poker there are couple things beginners must know besides strategy. The most important of them being rakeback. Not much beginners know any phrase besides „poker“ and „texas holdem“ when they start playing. Rakeback is important because it gives back a percentage of the fees that the player pays to the online poker room for arranging the games. This way you can maximize your profits or breakeven when you have a bad month.

Most people start with Texas Holdem because it is believed to be the most simple variation of poker. That is not true. Texas Holdem is something that has a lot of aspects which need to be learned. One of them is knowing how to use your position.

In Limit poker games you might face a raise which might seem small as it is only one bet and calling it is no catastrophy. In No Limit poker the raise can be multiple bets. Drawing hands and small pairs have to be folded in that case and you los eyour bet. This is the reason why in passive games these hands are only good in a late position.

Connected and cards of same suit need at least four or more players in a non raised pot to be profitable. You are only playing them to flop a straight, a flush or a draw. You flop a flush, straight two pairs or a set only once every seventeen times. Flush draw or a straight draw comes once every five times and when you have holed cards, like 9s-7s, then the straight draw hits you once every six times. In addition you need to check that the game would not be too aggressive. In an aggressive game even if everyone calls preflop then it might be hard to get the correct pot odds for calling with a draw on the flop.

In an early position you should play only premium hands, like AA, KK, QQ, AK and maybe JJ and AQ. Raising in an early position means that you have to have a hand which can withstand a re-raise.

With a pair of aces you win 80% of times against one player, 66% of times against two players, only 50% against four players and it only gets worse with more people in the pot. Normally by raising you get into a heads-up situation, pot is the same as with 4 limpers due to the raise. The standard raise in cash games is usually three or four times the big blind. This gets out the drawing hands but you still get some callers.

Lets go over the important things briefly. Definitely look for Noxwin Rakeback or even 888 Poker Rakeback as they are the easiest places where to start. Consider your position, always! Player only premium hands in the earlier positions and loosen up as your position moves towards the button. Do not go crazy! Try to make sense of your decisions and analyze them. Why did i do that? Why did i do it at that moment? And so on. Learn, adapt and win!

Video Poker Strategy

title="video poker" href="http://genericketchup.com/?p=19553" target="_blank">Video poker is very different from standard poker, or the most popular poker game on the market today, Texas Hold’em. It is a casino game that is merely based upon five-card draw poker. It is not played at a table, but it can be played on the Internet or on a computerized console equal in size to a slot machine.

The game of video poker was first introduced in the 1970’s, although the machine back then was rather primitive. By the 1980’s, video poker became progressively more popular in casinos, because people found them to be less daunting when compared to table games. Now, video poker is a prominent place on the gaming floors of almost every casino. The game is specially popular in Las Vegas.

First you place a bet of one or more credits by inserting money or a bar-coded paper ticket into the video poker machine. Then, you need to press the ‘deal’ button to draw the cards. You will then be given the opportunity to keep or discard one or more of your cards in exchange for a new card drawn from the same virtual deck. The machine then evaluates the hand and offers a payout if the hand matches of the winning hands in the posted pay schedule.

Typically in video poker, payouts start with a hand consisting of a pair of jacks. Pay schedules afterward that are based upon how rare or common the hand is. Some machines offer progressive jackpots for hands that are rare. Video poker machines are programmed to generate random card sequences, which are as random as the real issue.

Now, players can play games with variations other than five card stud. This includes Deuces Wild, Jacks are Better and Double Bonus. If playing video poker is your favorite, then you can join a player’s club or slot club to return a small share of the amount of money that is bet in the form of complimentary food, drinks, hotel rooms, and merchandise. As a member of this club, you are required to use a card when playing on the video poker machine that allows the casino to track your actions, including how often you bet and for how long you play. This is used to establish your level of play and determine if you deserve additional complimentary items.

These complimentary items can make a big different in the amount of money you end up spending on video poker. In fact, this can result in a positive theoretical return in scenarios where there would usually be a negative theoretical return.

How to begin Online Poker

The thing newbies need to remember is that the poker hands we see on TV do not represent well what makes a great poker player. First and foremost, the truly great players in all game disciplines master the fundamentals. In fact, great players devote much of their time to improving at those fundamentals they aren’t particularly good at.

No skills matter if you don’t have the wherewithal to follow through . If you know you shouldn’t tilt, but tilt anyway, you suck at discipline. And, you suck as a poker player compared to the poker player you could be. You may still be better than average, but you are a shadow of what you should be. It is almost impossible to work too hard on your discipline.

The bet is the atom of poker . Chips are chips, but bets are what build the poker game  – if you play for money. If you play to satisfy ego urges, rather than to win money, then you have different priorities, and you’ve blundered onto the wrong website. All ring game poker concepts revolve around the bet ( in tournaments you have to survive and be the last man standing which is different from cash games  .) You are not trying to win pots. You are trying to get the best of it on bets. You are trying to wager money, make bets, with a mathematically favorable expectation. This involves having as a coincidental goal the winning of pots, but that is not the main goal, and certainly not the focus of our efforts. We simply want to get our money in with the best of it. Win or lose, good luck or bad luck, that really is not the point. Let the bad players fixate on the results. You should fixate on doing the right thing.

Poker is a thinking person’s game. When bets are made without thinking, either by bad players or when “forced” via the game rules (as blinds or antes are), this is the fundamental money at stake in the contest. Thoughtful play must significantly focus on the bets that are made thoughtlessly! Attack the bad players, and attack the blinds. Thoughtful players have an edge over semi-thoughtful players, but thoughtful players have enormous edges over bets made without thought (again, either by thoughtless/bad players or by any player because they are forced by the rules to make the bet).

Poker also has a tax refund system called rakeback. You pay poker fees called rake to the room so they could keep the games running. Rake is how they make profit and pay their salarys. Some poker rooms offer a percentage of those fees back to the player. When also taking into account the level and amount of players in cash games and tournaments then most beginners like to look for 888 Poker Rakeback or Noxwin Rakeback. Betfair is especially good because they also have a casino and sportsbook where from gamblers come to poker.

Always be on the look out for soft games, title="Best Rakeback" href="http://www.rakebackforpoker.com/" target="_self">best rakeback and lots of players.

Texas Hold Em – Upping the Ante Online

As provocative as its title suggests, Texas Hold ‘Em poker conjures images of old west, high stake casinos, with stubble-cheeked cowboys huddled round cracked wooden tables, their eyes hidden under wide-brimmed hats, their hands expertly clutching 5 playing cards, fanned in front; dog-eared and stained. Eyes shift, dealers sweat, and spurs and revolvers glow steel-hot against faded leather chaps.

The image is classic, and represents a savage draw to a card game making waves throughout the online competitive gaming community. But the mastery of Texas Hold ‘Em poker is far from savage, and beating the dealer to claim top prize means undeniable respect from those who also endeavor to play casino Hold ‘Em poker.

As with all online table games, mastering the basics is tantamount to building a foundation with the vision to ultimately mastering the game and increasing overall winnings.

The most important function for online Hold ‘Em poker is the one deployed with the use of the short, yet apt command, Ante. At the start of the game, a default bet is used to indicate the standings, but only with an ante bet, can the game truly get underway.

The game is played with a virtual 52 card set, Jokers removed, and the object is to beat the dealer by obtaining the best possible hand.

After clicking the deal button, two cards are dealt both to the player and the dealer. The player will then reveal their cards and the dealer discards the top card of the virtual deck. The dealer then places the next three cards and the player decides whether to ‘fold’ or ‘call’, depending on the result.

Obviously, a ‘fold’ ends the game immediately but if a ‘call’ is made, the ante of the standings are automatically upped, and by 2- sometimes even 3x the original bet made.

The dealer then deals again, removing the top card once more and placing three cards down to join the original group. These three, however, remain face down until the dealer’s hand is shown, and the results are compared. The better hand wins.

There are three kinds of bets that online Hold ‘Em poker games generally allow:

The ante bet is the bet made at the start of the hand. Each game begins with a minimum credit standing in the account, but the game cannot start without the player making an ante bet.

The call bet can be made if the player decides to ‘call’ after the first part of the hand is revealed. The call bet, however, is then doubled or even tripled according to the casino and its betting and paying tables.

The bonus bet is the bet that can be tacked on to the existing bet at the start of the game, with the purpose of upping the steaks of the hand. A bonus bet cannot be set without making an ante bet before the hand commences.

That image of the cowboy in the bar, playing poker for stakes bordering life and death, may then be apt even in today’s online poker community. You could almost expect to log on through hinged slatted doors; you can almost feel the eyes on you as you make your way to that virtual table; you can almost feel the weight of the revolver at your hip. Go on, click that ‘Deal’ button, to play casino Texas Hold ‘Em poker online is to join the high-roller stakes of the real poker experience. You just have to ask yourself one question: Do you feel lucky¦?

The World of Hold Em Poker Table Games

For many, by its very nature, href="http://www.maplecasino.ca/">online casino poker is devoid of a very specific element which makes the experience of gaming all the more exciting; an element which adds gravity to any game and an element that makes the game worth playing; worth winning. That element is the element of human response and interaction.

Absent are the sickly-sweet smells of sweat mixed with perfumes and colognes, or the medicinal pang of the whiskey in the tumbler on the table, golden and shimmering in the casino floor lights. There are no bustling crowds, no cheering onlookers. There are no tell-tale give-aways from the opponent opposite; no raised eyebrow, no slight twitch at the mouth, no wiping of the nose, or clearing of the throat; at least not that can be seen, anyway.

But for many more, the human element is merely noise. And, especially for fans of online Hold ‘Em poker, the magic is not in the reading of one’s opponent, but in the besting of one’s enemy based on pure forethought, knowledge and game playing prowess.

The player of Hold ‘Em poker-tips" title="Poker Tips, Techniques, and Strategy">poker uses wit to best an opponent and, by establishing a sound bet, coupled with pure knowledge of the game, as well as relying on a tiny bit of luck, the solitary world of online poker can be just as riveting as the real thing.

But the betting is often what separates success and failure in Hold ‘Em poker, and to truly experience the excitement of winning online, one needs to know, firstly, the basic fundamentals of the game, and, secondly, the betting options, therein.

The Ante Bet

After joining or starting a game online, the gamer will be asked to place a bet to begin. This is the opening bet or ante bet, and is essential to the player commencing his or her hand within the game. This is far from being merely a bet to start the game, however, as an ante bet will set the scene as to how competitive the hand will be, and prompt opponents to continue upping the ante to make the hand that much more exciting.

The Call Bet

As the hand commences, two cards are dealt to the player in succession. The object of the game, obviously, is to beat the dealer by obtaining the best hand through a hierarchical system of possibilities. After those first two cards are dealt, the player decides whether to ‘fold’ and end the hand with a loss, or ‘call’. This call bet gives the player another card, and the possibility of a superior hand. The call bet, however, will see the value of the bet doubled or even tripled, lending another riveting dynamic to the game, and increasing the risk.

The Bonus Bet

The purpose of the bonus bet is simply to up the stakes of a given hand. By adding the bonus bet to the original, the hand becomes that much more valuable. The bonus bet if often made by players very confident in their knowledge of the game and current hand. There cannot be a bonus bet without the original ante.

So yes, online casino games are absent of the many tangible effects which make the game what it is. But the masters of the online version often find greater reward in playing the game at its most raw, it’s most stripped.

Pot Limit Strategy

When starting with online poker then 95% of the beginners are not aware of rakeback. It is something to maximize your profits. This will be explained later on. Texas Hold’em has three variations, no-limit, pot-limit and limit. Pot-limit Hold’em is one of the most difficult forms of poker, simply because it is big-bet poker. Bets at the start are small compared to their size on the river. Lets make an example where you have AK and the flop is Ac-2d-Th, you bet pot and someone calls, turn is a 3h, you bet and someone calls again. The river is a Qh, you check and he bets the pot. In limit poker it would be very easy to call because there is the possibility of you having a better hand. In Pot Limit you can not call just to see what he had and you will be beat from time to time.

Beginners usually sit into tables with short stacks and that is questionable . Should you take a full stack or a short stack? What are the benefits? It depends.

Playing with a small stack requires a patient state of mind  . Are you able to wait until you get a premium hand like KK while losing two or three rounds of blinds? Do you want to push all-in with the first big hand  ? If you are patient try playing with a short stack and waiting for a very good hand. If you are not then it’s best to bring a full stack and play your heart out .

If you bought in for $200 and have $40 left you should wait for a good hand before moving all in. If you can multiply your stack then you are back in the game. If you had $20 left then it would be wise to rebuy as it is difficult to win three or four hands in a row.

If the table is loose it might be best to rebuy and get a full stack . Big pots present themself more often at a loose table and you have a better chance of winning a bigger pot. It is good to play with a small stack if the table is tight  . You might be able to steal a few pots on the flop and rebuild bit by bit until you get a good chance to double up.

If you just lost a big pot because of a bad beat and you are left with crumbs then you should play tight and wait for a premium starting hand . It will give you some time to relax and to forget the bad beat. Rebuying right after a bad beat may cost you a lot of money very quickly.

Earlier we mentioned rakeback . This is something beginners leave out very oftenly and it is a mistake. Rakeback lets the player get back a big percentage of the poker room fees  . These fees are taken when you play at cash games or enter a tournament. The sums are small but if you play more then once then the fees only grow and it would be good to get a „tax refund“. Beginners should look for Noxwin Rakeback or even Opoker Rakeback. These poker rooms provide lots and lots of beginning players making it easy to get a nice profit and maximize that profit further you should register through an affiliate who offers rakeback.

Texas Hold’em always presents some new situations so the learning never stops  . Even if you start by playing the game then you should also read about strategy during that time. Best would be to start off by going through a lot of theory about the game and then using it on the table.

Good and Bad Starting Hands in Texas Holdem

There are certain basic lessons which any poker player needs to have in mind while playing poker. The most important amongst them is to know when to hold and when to fold. The most important decision to make at the beginning of the game is to know whether cards which have been dealt to you are worth staying in the game or it would be wise to call it a day.

One of the most common mistakes which many beginner poker players do is holding on to the worst pair of hole cards by which they end up losing money. The wise thing over here is to just fold your cards rather than trying to bet your money in the game. So in case you happen to be a novice poker player, the first thing you need to do is to remember which initial hands you should be holding and which are the hands which you should be folding at the outset.

Texas Holdem is without doubt the most popular variant of poker. So mentioned below is the list of best and worst poker starting hands.

Best Poker Hands:

You would be lucky if you are dealt with any one of the below mentioned initial hands.

Pair of Aces – It is commonly known as American Airlines or pocket rockets. This is the best possible starting hand in Texas Holdem.

Pair of Kings – Though it is lower in rank as compared to pair of Aces, it is still an excellent starting hand to open a game of Texas Holdem.

Pair of Queens – This would be the third best starting hand in Texas Holdem and can be beaten only by Kings and Aces.

Ace and King – The next hand in order would be an Ace and King. If they are of the same suit, you would be in a much better position as you would have the chance to form the nut flush.

Pair of Jacks – Until and unless there is a Queen, King or an Ace in the flop, you would stand decent chances of winning with this starting hand.

Ace and Queen – As was the case with Ace and King, a suited hand would increase your chances of winning the hand.

King and Queen – Unless the community cards contain an Ace, you would stand a good chance to win with this starting hand. And if it is suited, the chances improve even more.

Ace and Jack – Even though this starting hand may be unsuited, it is still worth holding.

King and Jack – This hand would also be in the list of top starting hands, but one should be careful, especially if it is unsuited.

Ace and Ten – The presence of Ace upgrades this hand to a good starting hand. But even then you need to be cautious as any of the above mentioned hands can beat this starting hand.

Worst Poker Hands:

These are the list of hands which are considered to be the worst starting hands in the game of poker. And in case you have any of these hands, the best thing would be to fold.

2 and 7 – If you are dealt with this starting hand, that too unsuited, you will not be able to make a straight. Even if it happens to be suited, you will have to be very lucky to form a low flush or the lowest pair. So the best thing to do would be to fold these cards.

2 and 8 – The situation with this starting hand would be almost similar to the above mentioned hand. A pair of 8 is still a low pair.

3 and 7 – Even though this can beat the previous two hands, it is still considered a hand which should be folded.

3 and 8 – Again there is not much of difference in this and the above hand.

2 and 6 – You might have a chance of forming a straight, but that would happen only if the community cards feature 3, 4 and 5. But that is again a chance and if there are more than 3 players playing in the game, one should never count on it.

2 and 9 – The presence of 9 does make the hand into a better shape when compared with the above mentioned hands, but still you can’t form a straight with hand. Even a pair of 9 would be beaten by pairs of 10, Jacks, Queens, Kings or Aces.

3 and 9 – Again there is not much of difference when compared to the above hand. You can’t form a straight and even if it’s a pair it would be higher than 8 but lower than almost any other hand.

4 and 9 – As mentioned above, these cards also need to be folded. Not worth holding.

2 and 10 – Even though Doyle Brunson managed to win two WSOP bracelets with this starting hand, unless and until you have the talent and experience of Brunson, this hand should be folded.

5 and 9 – This starting hand is also known as Dolly Parton, but it would never get you anywhere closer to the final table.
